Pyramid Apex 7402-UB3 Bill Acceptor (110V, VFM Bezel)

The 7402-UB3 suits 110 to 120 volt AC equipment whose door opening was made for a Mars or MEI VFM validator. It takes line power directly, with no external 12V supply, and the VFM-style faceplate fits the existing cutout. US $1, $5, $10 and $20 notes are read four ways, and the host link is pulse or serial. Notes are stacked upward into a 500-note plastic cassette, which is what the U and B in the part number stand for, and every Apex's dual-stage optical anti-stringing protects against string cheats. It calibrates itself, is configured with DIP switches or from a PC, and accepts flash firmware updates.

Order the 7402-UB3 for a 110V cabinet with a VFM-style door cutout when you want to swap validators without modifying the panel.
The UB3 chassis carries its own 110VAC supply, so it connects straight to wall power in equipment that has no 12V rail — laundromat changers, standalone kiosks and older amusement cabinets. Output to the host controller is pulse or serial, selected with DIP switches.
The VFM-style faceplate matches the opening left by Mars/MEI VFM and AE-series validators, so an upgrade needs no panel modification.
