Installation & setup notes
The 7401-UB4 is the direct MDB replacement for Coinco validators in vending machines — same cutout, modern Apex electronics.
The UB4 talks MDB (Multi-Drop Bus) at 24V, the standard for snack, beverage and combo vending machines. Plug the MDB harness into the vending controller and the acceptor is recognised by the VMC — no pulse settings to match, and it coexists with MDB coin mechs and card readers on the same bus.
The Coinco-style faceplate matches the opening left by Coinco BA30/BA50-series and similar validators, so a swap needs no panel modification.
