Apex 7000 Series

Pyramid Apex 7600-DB1 Bill Acceptor (12V, $1–$100)

12V Apex for $1–$100 notes under the DB1 part number, fully interchangeable with the 7600-UB1.

Service paperwork, machine manuals and older purchase orders often call for a 7600-DB1 by name, so we list it under that exact part number. Pyramid has confirmed there is no operational difference between the 7600-DB1 and the 7600-UB1, which means either one can go into a machine that specified the other. The DB1 runs on 12VDC from the host harness, reads US notes from $1 through $100 with its magnetic-head reader, and holds 500 notes. Its model number, 7600, ends in 00, which the Apex 7000 manual we host defines as Pyramid's standard bezel. Setup is by DIP switches or PC, calibration is automatic, and dual-stage optical anti-stringing comes standard. Pick whichever part number matches your records; the price is the same.

Installation & setup notes

Order the 7600-DB1 when a work order, parts list or machine manual names that part number. Pyramid confirms it behaves exactly like the 7600-UB1, so the two are interchangeable in any 12V / $1–$100 installation.

Runs on 12VDC from the host machine's harness using pulse or serial (RS-232) output, so it wires to arcade, redemption, gaming and kiosk boards without a separate power supply. Pulse-per-dollar and interface options are set with the on-board DIP switches.

Uses Pyramid's standard bezel footprint; check your cabinet's cutout against the Apex 7000 mounting drawing before ordering.
